What does Family Promise Do?
Family Promise of Lubbock empowers homeless families with minor children to achieve long-term independence by providing temporary shelter, support and growth opportunities.
FBC will be a host church by providing shelter for the families that Family Promise is currently hosting.  FBC will serve as a host church once a quarter.
How can you help?
  • Serve as an evening host. 5:15 PM – 8:30 PM on one of the days that we are hosting.
  • Help prepare and serve the evening meal for our guest.  6:00 PM – 7:00 PM (most of the meals will be served in the Global Missions Center)
  • Serve as an overnight host.  8:30 PM – 7:00 AM.  This does not require you to stay up all night.  Our volunteers will have their own sleeping area.
Where will I be serving?
At the FBC Transition House formerly known as the 930 House.
How else can you serve?
  • Congregational Coordinator
  • Meal Coordinator
