WAYS TO JOIN FBC
Commit Your Life to Jesus Christ
Meaning you have received or want to receive Jesus Christ as your Savior.
If you are coming as a new Christian or from a church of another denomination whose view of Baptism is different from the New Testament Baptism as practiced by Southern Baptists.
If you're currently a member of another Southern Baptist Church, you can transfer your membership to FBC Lubbock by visiting with a minister on Sunday morning (or evening) during our 'time of commitment' at the end of our worship service.
Join Church from Another Denomination
If you have previously received Jesus Christ and were baptized by immersion as an act of obedience into a church whose view of baptism is that of Southern Baptist.
What About Children?
Children are special at First Baptist Church! When children are ready to make a "Decision" they may come forward during the invitation at the end of a service. They will be greeted by a minister. Then, parents are instructed concerning the next step based upon your child's age, experience and need.
