Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old he
will not depart from it” is the goal verse for the FBC Children’s Ministry.
John 14:6 quotes Jesus as saying “I am the Way, the Truth and the Life—no one
comes to the Father but by Me.” Through Bible Study, Missions, Music and AWANA Clubs,
within the Children’s Ministry program children learn about salvation through Jesus
Christ by studying the Word of God.
Highway 12 refers to 1st and 2nd graders and Interstate 34 pertains to 3rd and 4th grade levels.
Both HWY 12 and I34 have a division director. If you come early on Sunday morning, children will
be directed to an age appropriate early arriver room where they will be greeted and their attendance taken.
After learning the memory verse, bible book, and prayer activities the boys & girls will be
escorted to their classrooms.
Sunday School begins t 9:30 and each grade level will meet in either an A or B classroom that is
staffed with a director and 2-4 teachers.
