We hold to Matthew 22:37-39... "Love
the Lord your God with all your
heart and soul and mind.
The second is like it:
Love your neighbor as yourself.'"
Women of Purpose seek to provide an avenue for the women of First Baptist Church to grow in our spiritual lives, then follow and serve Him, through Bible study, through missions, through fellowship and witness.
We pray that our Bible studies cause us to ask ourselves what God wants us to do in following and serving Him with this newfound knowledge, and that our mission exposure deepens our love, prayer, and involvement in missions.
The Fresh Start program is designed to provide an environment of positive support for single mothers and their children, where they will find encouragement, education, spiritual enrichment, growth, hope for daily living and the future. Women who are divorced, never married, widowed and grandmothers raising grandchildren alone, will learn ways to make important decisions on their own, and make positive life changes that will affect their child’s future.
